RedRover Caps Off Successful 2014 with International Recognition - Press Release - 12/2/14

In competitions that included thousands of submissions from more than 20 countries, Memphis-based RedRover Sales & Marketing Strategy won three prestigious industry awards, taking home:

  • Gold in the Davey International Awards for its Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council brochure;
  • Silver in the 2014 Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award (Summit MEA) competition for its comprehensive approach to rebranding a local oncology clinic, The Jones Clinic; and
  • Silver in the Davey International Awards for its employee wellness campaign for Lucite International.

These three awards top off a highly successful year for RedRover that has seen significant growth and the addition of several big-name clients including the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority. Earlier this year, RedRover won seven marketing industry awards, receiving another two Summit International awards and five Communicator Awards.

RedRover’s 2014 Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award for rebranding The Jones Clinic is its second in this category in just two years. Last year, the agency received the only platinum award for marketing effectiveness for the rebranding of downtown’s Bleu Restaurant and Lounge. The Summit MEA rewards comprehensive marketing strategies and the subsequent results that result from effective strategic execution – a nod to RedRover’s results-centric core business model.

RedRover’s innovative approach to sales and marketing strategy, in particular its customized research-based planning process for clients, isn’t the average fare for Memphis agencies. This unique business model has produced unparalleled results for RedRover’s clients time and again.

The Jones Clinic hired RedRover to expand brand awareness and attract patients in both the Memphis and North Mississippi markets. The rebrand included renewed messaging, strategically placed advertisements, redesigned promotional materials, and a reimagining of how the clinic communicates with existing patients and the public through its newly redesigned newsletter and website.

RedRover approached the award-winning Greater Memphis Chamber Small Business Council brochure with a focus on the vital role small businesses play in Memphis’ economy and its future. The brochure outlines specific chamber-driven/member-supported resources the Memphis small-business sector has at its disposal to achieve growth and operational goals. A 3-D display of the beautiful Memphis skyline is the brochure’s cover.

The award-winning wellness campaign for Lucite International began with the goal of increasing employees’ understanding of their specific health risks, motivating them to take action toward better health and wellness and providing them ample resources when they are ready to take action. Knowing one-size-fits-all solutions can only have limited effectiveness, RedRover created internal communication pieces around the unique preferences of Lucite’s employees. This resulted in Destination Wellness, an initiative leading Lucite employees to success in four main areas: career, finance, health and family.
