Leslie Graff Red Rover

It’s not just first impressions that matter to today’s consumer. Every interaction matters. You can’t afford to miss an opportunity to connect with your audience through communication plans and marketing materials that are anything less than perfect.

A Little Kibble

Leslie brings a commitment to unparalleled excellence to all her work with RedRover’s clients. As a Marketing Strategist, she is determined to make sure your critical message is delivered to the right people at the right time and through the right channel.

Having taught college writing for 15 years, Leslie can spot a comma splice from a mile away and prides herself on ensuring your materials are polished and perfect before being released into the wild. She used to teach her students that having a grammatical error in an important piece of writing is like walking into a job interview with your fly unzipped. She knows that every email you send to your customers, every ad you put out, and every social media post you make have to reflect the level of excellence you demand in your organization. In today’s competitive market, there’s simply no room for a typo or a misplaced image.

Feeding Time

Leslie came to Memphis to teach English and use her communications chops to spread the good news of the University of Memphis. Although she loves reading characters’ stories in her favorite novels, she found that she also really enjoyed hearing life stories from college alumni, fueling a move into university development. Raising funds to support the College of Education gave her a deep appreciation for the city’s generous spirit and grit that will not be dampened by any challenge.

If she can support young people fulfill dreams of teaching middle school math, think of what she can do for your business dreams!

Leslie grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere in Central Missouri but always found herself drawn to city life, much to her family’s chagrin. She credits her country mouse/city mouse background with teaching her how to relate to and communicate with all types of people, a skill she can bring to your company as you expand your client roster in both familiar and brand new markets.

When she’s not diagramming sentences to make sure the adjectives are in the right place, Leslie likes to pretend she’s Martha Stewart as she spends time drawing, knitting, and incessantly redecorating her house. Her next crafty adventure is to take a quilting cruise to Alaska, spending her days staring at icebergs over the top of her sewing machine. (She swears it’s a real thing and it’s more fun than it sounds.)

Leslie earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and then took off for Buffalo to pursue her Ph.D. at the State University of New York. Despite the blizzards and her strong aversion to chicken wings, she stayed in Western New York for almost a decade, teaching at several universities and doing freelance editing and communications work.
