Intern Isabel Kagoo

Actions speak louder than words; passion, determination, and hard work gets the job done.

A Little Kibble

As RedRover's youngest intern, Isabel is experiencing the innerworkings of a successfully run sales and marketing strategy firm. She’s learning vital marketing strategies that will help her achieve her future goals by shadowing various members of the team. Isabel’s tenacity and drive brings high-energy and a fresh perspective by offering insightful knowledge about today's generation.

Feeding Time

Isabel is a 10th grader at Lausanne Collegiate School, where she is taking challenging courses under the Middle Years Program – the prerequisite to the prestigious International Baccalaureate Program.

As a teen living in the greater Memphis area, Isabel is extremely passionate about local and national politics. She lives out her passion by being very involved in the Model United Nation, Youth in Government, speech and debate clubs at her school and serves on the Shelby County Youth Tobacco Prevention Board.

The saying, "actions speak louder than words" applies directly to Isabel. As a Tennessee youth anti-tobacco ambassador (TNSTRONG), she advocates for the amendment of Tennessee’s health education standards to include more information about the dangers associated with e-cigarettes. Unsatisfied with the lack of public awareness and strategy to improve it, she created a curriculum to help statewide health educators better inform young people of e-cigarettes' potential risks.

A natural-born leader, Isabel previously held the prestigious CHANGE fellowship at Bridges USA, where she helped kickstart a political campaign focused on youth voting rights. Currently, she is the President of the National History Day club, in which she has won first place on numerous occasions at the West Tennessee History Day Competition and at the Tennesse History Day Competition. This past year, Isabel qualified for the (global) National History Day Competition where she placed honorable mention.

In her spare time, Isabel loves to play the piano, flute, and piccolo. And, she enjoys playing tennis on Lausanne’s varsity tennis team.

We’re convinced there’s not anything this future leader cannot achieve!
