Catherine (Kitty) Taylor

Don’t sound like the rest of your competition. Don’t settle for the industry norm. Change it all up with a strategic sales and marketing plan built to dominate, not just compete.

A Little Kibble

As Vice President of RedRover, Kitty helps keep alive the founders’ vision of a results-oriented, accountable agency partner for Mid-South businesses. Kitty’s daily impact in the agency creates a definitive focus on the client outcomes that take marketing and sales strategies to greater heights.

Her own business savvy, creativity and candor drive real, measurable results for our clients, making her the perfect fit to manage our Growth Optimization (GO) Plan service.

Feeding Time

Kitty is responsible for the company-wide creation of outcome-based client strategies, as well as for arming internal pack members with the tools and opportunities they need to exceed client expectations. She is the main hiring manager for RedRover and is always on the lookout for potential pack members to help take RedRover’s growth vision to scale.

Kitty started at RedRover in January 2013 as a marketing strategist, serving as the account lead for a handful of prominent clients including DreamCatcher Hotels, Memphis Tomorrow and Thomas & Betts. Becoming marketing director in late 2014, Kitty led the pack’s effort to win the competitive bidding process that secured our marketing partnership with the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, and has contributed to the success of dozens of client strategies with her communications and marketing expertise.

Prior to 2013, Kitty’s 15-year career was in Washington, D.C., most recently as communications director in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. She began her career as the agency editor and marketing coordinator for a prominent (and since acquired) boutique public affairs agency serving multinational companies and national trade associations.

Kitty earned her master’s degree in public communication from American University in Washington, D.C. and her bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Ohio University in Athens.

Even though she’s originally from Ohio and spent the first decade of her career in our nation’s capital, Kitty is passionate about the re-emergence of Memphis’ downtown, where she resides. Having also lived in the Evergreen Historic District, Kitty considers Memphis her home.

She credits her parents for her work ethic and desire to continuously improve, and a few of her past managers for the inspiration and courage to add personal flavor to her work. If you’d like to add flavor to the RedRover pack, please see our careers page or contact Kitty to discuss career opportunities.

In the summer, in her spare time, you’re likely to find Kitty outdoors with friends at a live music venue or a downtown patio. As often as possible, her sassy and outgoing middle-aged pup Miss Cooper is enjoying Memphis by Kitty's side.

In the colder months you’ll find Kitty warming up in locally owned, neighborhood establishments. Kitty is naturally outgoing and curious, so she often strikes up conversations with folks nearby. Don't hesitate to say hello when you see Kitty. She always enjoys meeting new people!

She loves to travel in the U.S. and internationally, so she tries to fit in a trip or two every year with long-distance friends and family.
