RedRover Sales & Marketing Strategy Wins Two Top International Awards

Wednesday, August 5, 2015

In a competition that included more than 5,000 submissions from 23 countries, RedRover has won Gold and Silver Awards in the 2015 Summit International Awards competition for its creative work for Regional One Health Foundation and Premier Transportation’s Ride the Roo.

RedRover won a Gold Summit Creative Award® for its one-of-a-kind design of Ride the Roo, Memphis-based Premier Transportation’s unique nightlife transportation service that connects Overton Square and Cooper Young. Ride the Roo is recognizable from other transportation options due to the larger-than-life kangaroo sculpture, “the Roo,” that sits on top of the minibus.

The firm won the Silver Award for its 2014 MED Night Gala invitation for Regional One Health Foundation. MED Night 2014 was the biggest and most successful gala in the organization’s history up to that point. The invitation harnessed the “soul” of the event giving potential guests a taste of what was to come.

“I could not be more proud of the creativity and drive this RedRover team brings to the table each and every day,” said RedRover Founder and CEO, Lori Turner-Wilson. “While the results we generate for our clients are our number one goal, these awards are further proof that the work this team is doing is getting our clients the recognition they deserve.”

Now in its 21st year, the Summit Creative Award (SCA) recognizes and celebrates the creative achievements of small and medium sized advertising agencies worldwide. The SCA has firmly established itself as the premier arbiter of creative excellence for firms of this size and has become a coveted honor.

“Winning a Summit Creative Award is a significant accomplishment in ones career. With vetted judges, tough judging criteria, two-phase blind judging processes, and strict bylaws limiting winners, only deserving entries receive recognition.” Said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director for the Summit International Awards (SIA). “The creative work this year was outstanding. Watching the judges debate the details of individual entries in the run-off for the tops spots was inspiring.”

This year's SCA creative competition included companies from the following 23 countries: Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, England, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Venezuela.
