RedRover Sales & Marketing Strategy is growing its public relations and account leadership abilities with the addition of long-time journalist and former Daily News Managing Editor, Lance Wiedower.

Wiedower has more than 15 years of experience in the newspaper industry as a reporter and editor. He brings a journalistic eye for details and accuracy to the marketing world. Wiedower has managed an award-winning newsroom and created his own travel brand with the launch of an award-winning family travel blog.

Wiedower is dedicated to details and understands “they’re the foundation of any great plan.” He uses his reporter’s ear for details to listen to clients’ needs before strategizing a plan of attack.

Wiedower will use his expertise and that knack for details to serve as account lead for the Memphis Shelby County Airport Authority’s marketing and communications plan, managing the RedRover team through all aspects of the relationship.

The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority Board of Commissioners approved the selection of RedRover in September as the organization’s marketing and public relations firm. RedRover is working with Airport Authority officials to create branding and communications strategy, marketing, advertising, media relations, and community affairs. RedRover is also overseeing the redesign of the Memphis International Airport’s (MEM) website.
