As RedRover’s Market Research Analyst, Carlos works on qualitative and quantitative research practices to deliver every Growth Optimization (GO) Plan client a predictable, data-driven, and ROI-focused path forward.
After graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2008, Carlos worked with a company that conducted research on REITs with a focus on shopping centers. He also owned a small business which gave him real-life experience to the challenges many business owners face in a competitive market. Mostly recently Carlos worked for a firm that created market reports for Wall Street cash portfolio managers looking to make better investment decisions with their portfolios. In that role, he refined his ability to look for key metrics and critical insights to analyze a company.
When not at RedRover, Carlos spends time with close friends and catching up on the latest soccer news. He also enjoys going on daily runs, collecting 1990s GI Joes and learning new marketing research information. Not a dog owner, Carlos has a spoiled cat who demands his affection every minute. He also has a betta fish named Blu, who Carlos says recognizes him, but most people think he’s crazy.
“Be optimistic. Being pessimistic is pointless. I’d rather be optimistic and find out I am wrong than to be pessimistic throughout my journey only to find out I was right.”
