Julie Lunn is a co-founder of RedRover with Lori Turner-Wilson. She knows that you have to ask the right questions to get answers that will impact the bottom line.
Her mission in founding RedRover was to create a marketing and sales strategy agency that created breakthrough opportunities for all clients, regardless of their size—and that mission still drives our relationship with each client.
Julie spent over 20 years leading all facets of marketing and sales development prior to RedRover. Like our Memphis CEO, Julie has achieved placement on the “40 Under 40” list in the Business Journal of the Greater Tri-Cities Tennessee/Virginia.
Her past experience includes more than 15 years in the financial services industry with Bank of America and First Horizon National (First Tennessee), where she held various executive-level sales, marketing and training management positions.
Not only did Julie successfully develop incentive compensation and motivational programs for her sales teams, she also acted as the liaison between the marketing department and the sales force.
She’s provided training, communication and hands-on support to align the efforts of sales and marketing teams, generating stronger results overall. She has also directed the efforts of training and talent development departments.
Julie graduated magna cum laude with her MBA from Virginia Tech and earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing & communications (cum laude) from Appalachian State University.
As you might expect from a founder of RedRover, Julie loves her dog, Miss Ellie. She also enjoys renovating old homes, and she always seems to have a new project in the works.
When she’s not distance running, Julie loves reading classic mysteries and thrillers, and while she’s intrigued by e-readers, she still prefers the feel of a hardback book in her hands—at least for now
